Spotting a recovery scam
After a fraud, scammers often pose as "recovery agents".
Warning signs
- They contact you first, or promise guaranteed recovery.
- They ask for an upfront fee or crypto payment.
- They pressure you to act immediately.
- They ask for remote access to your device or your wallet seed phrase.
Never share a seed phrase or password. Genuine services do not need them.
